What it all boils down to:The face of copyright is changing. The industry is attempting to apply outdated copyright ideas and laws to the modern world, and it simply does not apply any more. The industry either has to learn to adapt or die out.Since we live in the days of inexpensive high-quality home recording equipemnt, and inexpensive (if not free) internet publishing, the music industry's greatest fear is that music no longer requires an industry. In the meantime, buy independent.

yes but their lawyers and the record companies won't let that happen. It will also keep them alive by stopping their drug habits. BTW Lamar Smith of Texas had a bill just like with Leahy and Hatch. I don't know how Lamar Smith gets the SA TX vote, I think it alls comes from Alamo Heights people, and the Rich Westlake Hills People none of color. This is the work of the Prison Industrial Complex, the Corporations, and laywers. No we are not in America anymore we are in CorpMerica.

if they're making such a big deal about stealing music. why are there any lawsuits against the corporations who are stealing the gene codes from plants and animals. last time i checked, those things were here a long time before they were.this is all about corporations getting greedier and tossing money into law-makers pockets to get more money from us.THIS IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL AND AGAINST THE CONSITUTION!

ok, let's boycott the industry and download everything. hell, i'll burn the cd's and give them away myself!as far as i'm concerned, the industry wouldn't exist if we didn't want them to.I say all musicians should make their music available for download, and if we feel they deserve it, we'll donate to them. i think the artist would be happier and make more money that is non taxable, and destroy the corporate cock suckers at the same time. we need to organize people!

Thieves? This is a video about piracy (copyright infringement), not theft. If I steal something from you, you don't have it anymore. Copyright infringement is not theft.

It could be that you just suck.Bands like REM who take advantages of different paradigms are doing better than ever.
