Fittng the words to the song is called "phrasing".I had an opportunity to meet John Ford Coley in Nashville. He co-wrote Sumerbreeze, "Really love to see you tonight" as part of England Dan and John Ford Coley.I asked him about that and he said just trust yourself and that it takes alot of work and practice. Not much but it may help.

HERE IS MY PERSONAL PROCESS........... drink beer or a bottle of wine, then pick up a guitar...............doesnt matter if electric or acoustic......6 or 12 string..........then strum and see what words come out, and write the words down on something........napkin, match book or note book paper...............GO FOR IT |
